Kids & Company School-Age Care: Before and After School plus Summer

Kids & Company is Hopkins Public Schools' premiere before- and after-school care program for children in kindergarten through fifth-grade. A fee-based program, Kids & Company is offered in five of the District's six elementary schools. The 2024-25 school year program runs Monday through Friday, September 3-June 6, and is open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enrolling your child in before- and after-school and summer care programs can give you peace of mind while helping your child learn, do their homework, promote new interests, build strong relationships, enjoy hands-on projects, and have fun in a safe and caring atmosphere.

Kids & Company Registration Process & Fees

School Year 2024-25

Kids & Company is open Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for children in YBK (age 4/5) through 5th grade. YBK morning care is available at Alice Smith Elementary, Eisenhower Elementary, Glen Lake Elementary and Tanglen Elementary beginning September 9th, 2024.

How do I apply for the Kids & Company program?

  1. The contract request window for Before School, After School, and Non-School Days is open April 8-19, 2024.
  2. Register for an account on the Eleyo website.
  3. Your account must be in good standing with all Hopkins Community Education programs in order to register for a current or upcoming summer or school year program. Your contract request will be placed on hold until payment has been received in full.

Any changes are due to the billing office by the 15th of the prior month. You will not be able to make changes if the month has been invoiced.

Scholarships Available

Hopkins Community Ed offers scholarship funds for qualifying families in need of assistance to pay for child care fees for Kids & Company. Please contact ResourceWest for assistance options:
