Bylaw No. 12375, the Zoning Bylaw, was adopted on September 26, 2022.

The Zoning Bylaw governs land use and the form, siting, height and density of all development within the City boundaries. The Bylaw divides the City into Agricultural, Rural Residential, Suburban Residential, Multi-Dwelling, Commercial, Core Area, Urban Centre, Village Centre, Industrial, Institutional, Water, and other Comprehensive Development zones.
